What is a Biome?
Biomes are places in the world that have similar types of landscape, animals and plants. For example: there is a desert in Australia and a desert in Africa, there is a tropical rainforest in Queensland, Australia and another in Brazil. Biomes include: Tropical Rain forests, Tundra, Desert, Grasslands, Temperate Forests, Boreal Forests and Mountain Vegetation.
Biomes are beautiful places ranging from boiling hot temperatures to freezing cold. Containing plants and animals that are built to adjust and live within their climate. Some animals even live off each other by preying on certain animals.

Different biomes on different continents have different climates and animals that adapt to their environment, For example Australia has Kangaroos in their grasslands and Africa has lions. Deserts are really warm biomes and the Polar biomes can reach freezing temperatures.
